One teacher that I have this year is Ms. Green. She teaches English IV, and so far I really like her. In the beginning of the school year I thought she did not like me. The first day I got my phone taken away, and then was reprimanded for having Starbucks on my desk. After class I was given my phone back and she said she understood because it was the first day. I know Ms. Green likes me because the only day she preached to the class that I was "perfect." I love cute, old people and she is really cute. Her website is on the high school website,

I have expected to learn about grammar and some SAT things, but we actually have been doing a lot of poetry and literary terms. I figured we would stop with literary terms because we have done them since 6th grade, but that was not the case. This is a video of some of the terms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps5hT9AsK8I. I was also expecting to not get a lot of work, but so far we have done a lot. I thought it would be American English, but it is British English. The text is sometimes hard to understand because it was during the Saxon Anglo time period, but sometimes it can be interesting and easy. Here is a

The grading policy is a lot more strict than I expected. Last year, Ms. Hunter graded harsh, so I was prepared, but not expecting it. For example, for a simple writing do-now almost everyone got an 85. I was very surprised, and I hope I maintain a good grade in her class. We have not talked about projects or class trips yet, but im assuming that talk will come. Defiantly a slim chance of class trips, but projects will most likely be a big part. So far I really like Ms. Green's English IV class.
