- Places a strain on the people who have to call the people back
- The people often do not answer afterwards
- Survey shows it has taken about fourteen minutes to frantically get a response while not knowing if it was accidental or not
- They consider this the "pain part" of their day
- This increased the risk of actual 911 callers
